Etymology
أَنْتَ descends from the Proto-Semitic independent second-person singular pronoun *ʾanta. The stem *ʾant- is shared across the Semitic family, with the final vowel marking gender: -a for the masculine and -i for the feminine (أَنْتِ). It has no connection to Indo-European second-person pronouns despite superficial resemblance.
