Etymology
فَوْرِيّ comes from the root ف و ر, which carries the sense of boiling or gushing forth suddenly. From this root Arabic formed the noun فَوْر, meaning the very instant or moment something happens, as in the phrase من فَوْره, meaning at once. فَوْرِيّ is a nisba adjective built by adding the relational suffix يّ to فَوْر, so it literally marks something as belonging to that instant.
