Etymology
مُخادِع is the active participle of the Form III verb خادَعَ, itself built on the triliteral Semitic root خ-د-ع, meaning to deceive or cheat. Form III often carries a sense of effort directed at another party, so خادَعَ suggests trying to outwit or dupe someone, and مُخادِع names the person doing that. Arabic is a Semitic language, not Indo-European, so it has no Proto-Indo-European root.
