Etymology
مُهاجِم comes from the Arabic root ه-ج-م (h-j-m), which carries the core sense of rushing at or storming something. The verb هاجَمَ, a Form III verb, means to attack or assault. مُهاجِم is that verb's active participle, so it literally names the doer of the attacking: the one who attacks. Arabic is a Semitic language, so it has no Indo-European root behind this word.
