وُدِّيّ comes from the root و-د-د (w-d-d), which underlies the noun وُدّ (wudd), meaning love, affection, or friendship. In practice it describes anything done in a spirit of goodwill rather than hostility: a friendly match, an amicable settlement, cordial relations.
