Încrezător was built inside Romanian, not inherited whole from Latin. It rests on the reflexive verb a se încrede, to trust, which itself comes from a crede, to believe, from Latin credere, with the prefix în- added on top. The suffix -ător then turns the verb into an adjective, roughly parallel to English -ing or -ful. Latin credere is usually traced to a Proto-Indo-European phrase meaning to place one's heart, which is how an old word for belief ended up covering trust and confidence.
