Etymology
تَخْزِين is the verbal noun of the Form II verb خَزَّنَ, itself built on the triliteral root خ-ز-ن, meaning to store or hoard. The same root gives مَخْزَن, a storehouse, which passed through Italian as magazzino and entered English as magazine before that word narrowed to its modern print sense. Arabic is a Semitic language, so it has no Proto-Indo-European ancestor.
