Etymology
Τζετ is a direct borrowing of English "jet," adopted into Greek in the mid-20th century as jet aircraft became common. English "jet" itself comes from French "jeter" (to throw), from Latin "iactare," a frequentative of "iacere" (to throw). Greek simply transliterated the English word rather than translating it, which is why it stays indeclinable.
