Etymology
Dinainte is built from din ("from, out of") and ainte, a bound form going back to Latin ante ("before, in front of"). The same ainte appears in înainte ("forward, before"), which is în + ainte. So dinainte and înainte are twin formations on the same Latin root, differing only in the prefix attached to it.
