قَضائِيّ is a nisba adjective built from قَضاء, the verbal noun of the verb قَضى, meaning to judge, decide, or settle a matter. The root ق-ض-ي covers the whole idea of reaching a binding decision, which is why قاضي means judge and قَضاء means judiciary or justice system. Adding the nisba ending ي to قَضاء gives an adjective meaning of or relating to the judiciary.
