Etymology
Βρω is a form of the verb βρίσκω, which comes from Ancient Greek εὑρίσκω, meaning to find. The perfect tense of that ancient verb, εὕρηκα, is the source of the English word eureka. Scholars have not settled on a secure root behind εὑρίσκω further back than Ancient Greek, so no earlier root is given here.
